Enrollment

Register online or download and print the registration form (PDF format* or Word Document) and mail the form together with a check covering the registration fee or fax the form with credit card payment information.   Indicate registration for two-days, one-day, or group rate (corporate/company groups only).  Registration deadline is April 22, 2008

Your name badge will be available at the registration table, Chapman Theatre lobby, the day of the conference.

Fees

Program sessions, materials and luncheons are included.

Full payment, by check or credit card, is due in advance of the conference. We cannot accept purchase orders.  Make checks payable to TU Conference of Accountants. Group registrants should each complete a registration form but the group must pay with one check.

Mail payments to Conference of Accountants, School of Accounting and Management Information Systems, The University of Tulsa, 800 South Tucker Drive, Tulsa, OK 74104-9700 or send via fax (credit card section completed) to (918) 631-2164.

Refunds will not be granted for nonattendance or cancellations after April 22, but substitutions may be made.

Continuing Professional Education - NASBA Registered*

The conference is designed to enhance the professional development of those attending. There are no prerequisites or advance preparation required for any session. Unless otherwise stated, each session will be an overview lecture followed by a brief question-and-answer period. Sessions are tailored to meet the CPE guidelines of certification and/or licensing agencies as nearly as possible. Authority for granting CPE credits is, however, reserved solely to the agencies and organizations.

Documentation of attendance at the conference sessions will be sent to participants. Attendance documentation will be confirmed to the respective agencies and organizations upon request. CPE credit-hours will be calculated on the basis of each 50 minutes per 1 credit hour. There are a total of 15 possible credit hours for attending the entire conference.  Application for CPE credits are the responsibility of the individual.

Tax Deduction

Treasury Regulation 1.162-5 permits an income tax deduction for continuing education expenses (including registration fees, travel, meals, and lodging) if undertaken to maintain and improve professional skills.

Time & Place

Tuesday, April 29, registration is at 7:30 a.m. with sessions beginning at 8:15 a.m. and ending at 5:00 p.m.

Wednesday, April 30, the registration table will be open at 8:00 a.m. and sessions will begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 4:30 p.m.

All sessions except for lunches meet in the Chapman Theatre, Kendall Hall. Luncheons are held in the Great Hall, Allen Chapman Activity Center on Tuesday and the Reynolds Center on Wednesday.

There are no designated hotels for this conference.
