Based on the true focus of business: the bottom
line.
Strategy—a buzzword, but
what does it really mean and how can strategy make a difference? This
session will assist you in preparing your organization for the future.
It will include a section on performing an environmental analysis to
identify opportunities and learn about the profit potential of your
industry and company; a section on strategy formulation—including
corporate-level, business-level and generic strategies; and a section on
strategy execution – including how to build an action plan for alignment
and deployment of your objectives.

Features

Opening Event: A new twist on Finance and
Accounting for Non-Financial Managers, the six-hour Saturday lays the
foundation for course sessions to follow and gives participants an
opportunity to know other classmates. A special catered luncheon
provided

Website Postings and Chat: During the
course, participants will have a place to post questions for other
participants and faculty on a special website. Readings, case studies
and additional resources will be available.

Monday Evening Session: Each evening, we
provide a light sandwich meal for participant convenience—since many
come directly from work. Participants are also welcome to bring a brown
bag.

Certificate Presentation: All participants
attending a minimum of 11 of the 13 sessions will receive a Certificate
of Completion from the TU Center for Executive & Professional
Development. At no additional charge, those unable to attend the minimum
may make up classes during the next scheduled certificate program
