It's So Simple
Southwest Employees Luv Their Company
Transforming Cultures the SWA way

What does it take to lead a company to Fortune’s list of 100 Best Companies to Work For In America?  Has Southwest Airlines cornered the market on customer service and employee dedication?  And can the lessons from Southwest’s culture be duplicated in your workplace?

Most people don’t think it’s possible for a company to love you, and many don’t understand how you can love a company, according former CEO Herb Kelleher.  In fact, today many people live in “corporate fear,” afraid they may make mistakes and tank their careers.  The film, It’s So Simple, shows you that it is possible to change that fear to love.

The film takes you behind the scenes at Southwest Airlines to find out why they are one of the most sought-after employers in the nation, and one of the most successful and admired organizations on the planet! From the newest employee to the CEO, there’s something in It’s So Simple for everyone!

It’s So Simple shows how trust, respect and support among co-workers will increase productivity and retention and improve customer service and growth. It all happens by giving employees the freedom to do their jobs well, the freedom to learn from mistakes, and the freedom to love their work!

Join us as we look at the six factors that can change organizational life, including:

  Leadership    Accountability   Vision
Customer Service   Quality & Productivity   Change

Hear it from the employees of Southwest, and discover how much of it can be applied to your organization.

Instructor
Vicki Anderson, former Director of an international aerospace company’s corporate university, will lead you through a process to help you apply and plant some seeds to change your work organization.  As an independent consultant, Anderson has worked with major sales, service and manufacturing firms, training in areas related to human resource development, leadership and performance management improvement.  She has trained employees in both the public and private sectors on how to apply the Southwest Airline culture to any organization.  She earned her B.A. – Speech from the University of Wisconsin and her M.S. – Occupational and Adult Education from Oklahoma State University.
