Foundations in Quality Learning Series

Quality 101

Designed to meet individual and organizational needs for basic quality understanding and competency, this course helps build a foundation for excellence by addressing both philosophical and application essentials of quality. In addition, the Quality 101 content parallels the body of knowledge for ASQ’s Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA) certification exam and assists in preparing individuals for the exam.

This twelve-hour course satisfies Section 6.2 human resource requirements and provides documentation for the new ISO 9001:2000, TL9000, TS 16949, and AS9000 standards on competence, awareness, and training.

Instructor:
Mark Vardaro, American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Manager and International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA) Certified QMS 2000 - Aerospace Lead Auditor. He is one of only 19 IRCA Aerospace Certified Lead Auditors in the United States. Mark is an Executive Management consultant and Quality Management System auditor out of Oklahoma City. He is a Senior Examiner for the Oklahoma Quality Award Foundation (OQAF) and has served as a Team Leader for three award cycles.
